The Azerbaijani army is provided with high-level professionals and does not need to attract foreign military advisers, including Turkey, during the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Major General Huseyn Makhmudov said in an interview with TASS.
"Azerbaijan cooperates with many countries, including Turkey and the Russian Federation. The Azerbaijani army has a sufficient number of highly professional military officers, military personnel. So, there is no need to attract foreign instructors and advisers," he said, answering the question of whether there are military advisers from Turkey in the Azerbaijani army.
On September 27, the Armenian armed forces carried out a large-scale provocation. They intensively shelled the Azerbaijani army's positions on the front line with large-caliber weapons, mortars, and artillery of various calibers. The command of the Azerbaijani Army decided to launch a counter-offensive operation of our troops along the entire front to prevent the combat activity of the Armenian armed forces and ensure the safety of the civilian population.
