Azerbaijan continues successful restoration work in the liberated territories, Head of Azerbaijan's Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev said in his article headlined "Nation-state building of great leader Heydar Aliyev and modern development strategy."

"The great victory of the valiant Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, in the Patriotic War is an important historical event of great moral significance for the Azerbaijani people and shaping new realities in the region. This is a fateful and glorious stage in our national development, launched by national leader Heydar Aliyev in the name of a strong, independent, sovereign Azerbaijan and successfully completed by President Ilham Aliyev. On November 8, 2020, addressing the people with the joyful news of the liberation of the city of Shusha, President Ilham Aliyev said the following: 'Today I visited the grave of great leader Heydar Aliyev, bowed my head before his memory. I said to myself that I am a happy person, as I fulfilled my father's will.'

These words of President Ilham Aliyev should be understood as the fulfillment of his father's will and the triumph of a wise policy founded by Heydar Aliyev and continued in the future and the state-building and a modern development strategy," the article reads.
