Hulusi Akar: Turkey supports Azerbaijan in its fair struggle

“Inspired by the history of our ancestors, who brought peace and prosperity to three continents, we, together with our brothers, comrades-in-arms and friends, led by Azerbaijan and Libya, are fighting for trampled human values,” Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said at an event dedicated to March 18 - Martyrs’ Remembrance Day and the 106th anniversary of the victory at Canakkale (the Dardanelles operation), Report informs.

“In this context, we continue our activity on holding exercises and assistance activities for Libya, with which we have a 500-year brotherly relationship. We stand by our Libyan brothers in their fair struggle. Our goal is to contribute to the formation of Libya which will live in peace and stability. I want to note again that we will always support Azerbaijan in its just struggle. Azerbaijan is our brother, with which we share and will share all the sorrows and joys,” Akar stressed.
