Italian minister, US Secretary of State speak about Nagorno-Karabakh

"I would like to express our concern about the renewed military clashes along the contact line between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Nagorno-Karabakh issue has been unresolved for many years. But now we are afraid of additional military escalation, causing great damage to the civilian population and regional stability. This crisis shows that we must resume negotiations within the Minsk Group without any conditions," Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Luigi Di Maio said at a meeting with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

According to Report's local bureau, Luigi Di Maio said he would discuss the issue with his collaborators: "The Italian government is in favor of resolving the problem as soon as possible. I will talk about this with my colleagues in Azerbaijan and Armenia in the next few days. "
