The Jordanian National Committee for Demining and Rehabilitation (NCDR) is ready to assist Azerbaijan in demining the liberated territories and share its experience, NCDR representative Jamal Odibat told Report.
"We are just beginning to study all the problems in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, in particular, the demining process. Long-term cooperation has been established between Jordan and Azerbaijan in this area, and now we will try to study the problems in these territories," Jamal Odibat said.
Today, participants of the international conference "Humanitarian demining and sustainable development goals" arrived in Aghdam, liberated from the Armenian occupation.
From March 31 to April 1, with the joint organizational support of the Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Mine Action (ANAMA) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), a hybrid event on the topic "Humanitarian demining and sustainable development goals" is being held, which brought together about 120 participants in total from 30 countries of the world, including 20 officials of structures specialized in the field of demining from the UK, Serbia, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Angola, Cambodia, Jordan, Sudan, etc.
