Khalaf Khalafov on shelling of Azerbaijani territories by Armenian separatists

Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov has commented on the recent violations of the ceasefire regime by illegal Armenian armed groups from the territories, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed.

Report informs that Khalaf Khalafov told reporters that Armenians live in the territories controlled by peacekeepers and their integration is one of the main issues facing us.

"We consider that they are citizens of Azerbaijan," he added.

The deputy minister said that the conflict is over, the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan has been restored. "The illegal Armenian armed formations must be unambiguously withdrawn. Naturally, all negative circumstances that impede calm must be eliminated. The violation of the ceasefire is unacceptable."
