Shusha volunteer: 'If our demands are not fully met, we can start the action again'

If our requirements are not fully met, we may restart the protest, Arif Guluzade, a member of the Shusha Volunteers group of the Return Volunteers Program told Report.

He said that they were very pleased with the establishment of a border control mechanism by Azerbaijani border guards at the beginning of the Lachin-Khankandi road, thereby ensuring transparency, rule of law, and safety of traffic on the road: "As you know, our environmental campaign lasted for 138 days. On April 23, 2023, a border checkpoint was established by the employees of the Azerbaijan State Border Service at the beginning of the Lachin Road. Today, based on our talks with state representatives, a decision was made to temporarily suspend our action. We declare once again that our demands have been partially fulfilled. If our demands are not fully met, we can start the action again."
