Turkish specialists to work with Azerbaijan in restoration of historical monuments in Karabakh

"I think that brotherly Azerbaijan will use real tourism potential in the liberated territories to good account," said Turkey's Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy in an exclusive interview with Report's local bureau.

"Head offices of the ministry and TIKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) employees will be sent to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan in a few weeks and work together with Azerbaijani specialists to restore cultural, historical, and archeological sites, monuments, and unique points."

"The development of tourism sector in Azerbaijan has been visible in recent years. On the other hand, we will always support Azerbaijan to evaluate such a high tourism potential in Karabakh in the most favorable way," the minister said.
