Today marks a significant milestone for Report Information Agency (IA) as it celebrates the 10th anniversary since its establishment.
Given the favorable environment for the development of free press in Azerbaijan and the increasing accessibility of online news resources, Report Information Agency launched its operations in the online media space in 2014 with the aim to provide the public with comprehensive information about Azerbaijan's involvement in large-scale projects and hosting of prestigious events in recent years.
Operating in the Azerbaijani, Russian, and English languages, Report Information Agency has garnered a wide readership over the past decade by promptly covering the most important events in politics, economy, society, sports, culture, and other areas both in the country and worldwide.
From day one, the agency prioritized exclusive news, becoming a trusted reference source for all local websites. Numerous reputable local and foreign media outlets now cite and publish Report's exclusive news daily.
A special focus of Report's coverage has been Azerbaijan's glorious Victory in the Patriotic War, the realities of the post-war period, including the restoration and reconstruction work in the liberated territories, and the projects being implemented. To ensure global outreach, the news and commentaries published on Report.az, which operates 24/7 throughout the year, are promptly translated into Russian and English.
Report boasts an extensive network of correspondent posts across the country. The agency places a special emphasis on preparing materials related to the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan's districts.
In addition to its domestic coverage, Report also maintains special bureaus in Türkiye, the United States, France, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan. These international outposts closely monitor significant events in their respective countries, with a particular focus on developments that impact Azerbaijan's relations with these nations. Report's foreign correspondents also keep a keen eye on the activities and achievements of Azerbaijani diaspora communities abroad, bringing their stories to the forefront.
The agency also contributes to the training of specialized journalists in Azerbaijan. Report Media School has been operating since 2018 to cultivate professional media personnel and instill modern global media trends in young journalists. Initially admitting students only in Azerbaijani, the school now also conducts classes in Russian. To date, 17 groups have graduated from the media school, with dozens of young journalists starting their careers at Report and other media outlets.
Report Information Agency is currently part of Global Media Group. The agency expresses gratitude to all its readers, as well as government agencies, deputies, NGOs, lawyers, embassies, and experts who have collaborated with the media outlet over the past period, and wishes them success!
