New training program kicks off at Report Media School

The Report Media School of the Report Information Agency (IA) has launched a new training program.

Ten of the applicants will prepare news, interviews, reports, and research articles in the agency and learn the secrets of the journalism profession. Emphasis will be placed on news journalism during the training.

Fuad Huseynaliyev, Director of the Report Information Agency, said at a meeting with members of the 11th group of the Report Media School that the participation of students in the process of creating information is a much more effective teaching method than any theoretical training:

"Every student of the Report Media School has the opportunity to hear the voice of the newsroom, to feel the harmony of the information preparation process. A more successful result can be achieved by seeing the visual picture of what is happening in the news agency. The news flow comes with a wave, the silence can be broken at once. I am sure that each of you will be able to find yourself in journalism."

The head of the Report Media School Ismayil Rafigoglu called on young journalists to take advantage of every opportunity created at the agency during the training:

"Training at the Report Media School begins with the first meeting. It is necessary to join the process without even missing a moment. You need to perform practical tasks, participate in events with agency journalists, and learn what you do not know."

The Report Media School has been operating since 2018. The purpose of the media school is to train professionals in the field of media in Azerbaijan, to convey modern trends used by the world media to young journalists, to reveal the potential of those who are interested in journalism and want to work in this sector, to increase practical knowledge and skills. So far, dozens of young people have graduated from the Report Media School. These young people work in various media outlets in the country.
