Expansion of ties between military-industrial complexes of Azerbaijan, Pakistan discussed

The Azerbaijani delegation, headed by Deputy Minister of Defense Industry Mehman Bakhishov, is participating in the 12th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar IDEAS 2024 in Pakistan's Karachi, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Defense Industry.

The deputy minister familiarized himself with the stands displaying military industry products from various countries.

During the exhibition, Bakhishov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Turkish Defense Industry Committee Ihsan Kaya, Chairman of Pakistan's Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Director General of Pakistan's Strategic Planning Department Lieutenant General Yusuf Jamal, and other government officials, as well as representatives of private companies.

The meetings participants discussed prospects for developing existing cooperation and expanding ties between the military-industrial complexes of the two countries.
