Operational-tactical exercises of Azerbaijani army to end today

Today, the training of the Azerbaijani Army will end.

The Azerbaijani Army has conducted operational and tactical exercises under the 2021 combat training plan.

The practice, which began on March 15 and was led by the Defense Minister, involved up to 10,000 personnel, about 100 tanks and other armored vehicles, nearly 200 different caliber missiles and artillery pieces, rocket launchers, and mortars, about 30 military aircraft, and various unmanned aerial vehicles.

Considering combat experience gained in the Patriotic War, the exercises in mountainous and rugged terrain areas focus on command management, combat readiness, and regrouping, as well as combat coordination and interaction between general forces, Missile and Artillery Troops, aviation, and Special Forces.
During the activities, the troops performed tasks on combating terrorist groups, illegal armed groups, and anti-terrorist operations.
