Zakir Hasanov calls on int'l community to take steps over Armenia's attempt to destabilize situation

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov has met with a delegation led by Toivo Klaar, Special Representative of the European Union for the South Caucasus.

Report mentions, citing the Ministry of Defense, that the minister provided information about the work done by the Azerbaijani army in the territories liberated during the Patriotic War, which ended with the glorious victory of the Azerbaijani army under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.

Noting the unacceptability of Armenia's attempts to aggravate the situation, the minister stressed the importance of the correct assessment of this issue by the international community and the adoption of appropriate measures.

Klaar noted that the European Union is ready to provide necessary support in ensuring peace in the region.
