Coordinator of the CIS IPA monitoring group Andrey Yatskin has noted the organized manner of the voting process at polling stations as part of the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Yatskin made the remark while observing the voting process at a polling station.

"I would like to note the organized order of voting at the polling stations. All aspects of the polling station are prepared at a high level. This is evident both from the visual materials and from communication with observers from political organizations that allocated their observers," he specified.

Yatskin said that all the necessary conditions at the station, the opening of which he observed, were also well organized.

"I think that the elections show the general mood of the Azerbaijani people to make their electoral choice," the observer added.

Early parliamentary elections are being held in Azerbaijan today. Voting began at 08:00 local time and will last until 19:00. There are 6.421.960 million people with the right to vote in the country, 990 candidates will compete for 125 deputy mandates, and they will be elected for a five-year term.
