Milli Majlis approves new bill 'On Independence Day'

The new bill 'On Independence Day' has been discussed in the second reading at today's plenary session of Milli Majlis.

Report informs that the bill was adopted in the second reading after voting.

Under the bill, May 28 - Republic Day is renamed Independence Day, and October 18 - Day of State Independence is renamed Day of Restoration of Independence.

These days will be marked as holidays. While Independence Day will be considered nonworking, Day of Restoration of Independence will be the working day.
