MP slams Baku Transport Agency for lack of concept

The Baku Transport Agency (BTA) has no concept [of precise definition of the limits of its authorities], Milli Majlis MP Rufat Guliyev believes.

The parliamentarian said this during the discussion of the amendments to the law "On road traffic" and the Code of Administrative Offenses in the first reading, Report informs.

"In the end, this is not a fiscal body. The BTA employees run on the road, shoot improperly parked cars. As far as I know, the head of the BTA is here today. The BTA management should prepare the concept of the structure as soon as possible. The issue can be resolved in a normal way," Rufat Guliyev said.

MP Gudrat Hasanguliyev, in turn, positively assessed the work of BTA, adding that the state of the road in the regions is very bad and there are problems with road lighting.
