Parliament Speaker Gafarova slams EP resolution against Azerbaijan as full of lies

The European Parliament (EP) is using international events like COP29 against Azerbaijan, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said on Tuesday, Report informs.

According to Gafarova, the resolution adopted against Azerbaijan in the European Parliament is full of lies and slander:

"The Milli Majlis strongly rejects the resolution containing lies, threats, and demands against Azerbaijan. This is yet another step by forces that cannot reconcile with stability in the South Caucasus. The European Parliament's move means defying our state's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The European Parliament is using international events like COP29 against Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is open for political dialogue and cooperation. However, we reject any biased rhetoric of threats and demands against our country."
