Ukrainian MPs hold meetings in Parliament of Azerbaijan

A delegation of the members of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group of Verkhovna Rada paid a visit to the national leader Heydar Aliyev's grave in the Alley of Honor in Baku.

Later, the guests who visited the Alley of Martyrs held meetings in the Milli Majlis.

During the first meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis, Fazail Ibrahimli, issues such as the steps to be taken to further strengthen the relations between the parliaments of the two countries and the current situation in Ukraine were discussed. Gratitude was expressed to the leadership of both countries for mutually defending each other's territorial integrity at the international level. Milli Majlis members Rufat Guliyev, Tahir Mirkishili, Javanshir Feyziyev, Javid Osmanov, and Nagif Hamzayev participated in the meeting.

The delegation comprised the Head of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Kreidenko, MPs Mykola Halushko and Anton Shvachko, and Hikmat Javadov, chairman of the United Diaspora of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, held another meeting. Current issues related to the activities of the friendship group of the two countries were discussed at that meeting.
