The heads and representatives of the diplomatic corps and heads of international organizations in Azerbaijan have visited Jabrayil and Zangilan districts liberated from the Armenian occupation, Report informs.

The foreign diplomats first visited the Jojug Marjanli village in the Jabrayil district, where they got acquainted with the situation on the ground.

Then the delegation headed to the city of Jabrayil, where representatives of the diplomatic corps visited the historical monuments in this city and were also able to see firsthand how the Khudaferin bridge was damaged due to the Armenian occupation.

Then, for the first time after many years, the music sounded among the ruins of the culture house in Jabrayil - the Overture to the Koroglu opera by Uzeyir Hajibayov was performed on the violin. The diplomats greeted the performance with applause.

UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp told reporters that his country is ready to invest in developing several areas in the Azerbaijani territories liberated from occupation, such as tourism, renewable energy sources, etc.

After that, foreign diplomats also visited the Zangilan district.

The diplomats and military attachés were accompanied by Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to First Vice President Elchin Amirbayov, and others officials.
