White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that US President Joe Biden would again hold talks on the situation around Ukraine with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in the near future, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
Biden and Macron have spoken twice in the past week, and their new contacts are expected to take place soon, Psaki said at a briefing.
She added that the US and France maintain contacts at various levels.
Earlier, Macron discussed containment measures with his US counterpart in response to Russia's alleged continued buildup of military forces on the borders with Ukraine.
Before that, Biden and Macron had two telephone conversations, during which they discussed the situation around Ukraine.
