Bundeswehr prepares plan for Operation Germany in case of war with Russia

The Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) has prepared a secret plan in case of military confrontation with Russia, according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Report informs via TASS.

The 1,000-page Operation Germany plan lists all infrastructure objects that deserve special protection and contains procedures for defense or "measures to deter Russia on NATO's eastern flank."

The plan notes that in such a case, Germany would become "a center for concentrating tens of thousands, and possibly hundreds of thousands of military personnel" transferred to the east, as well as military property, food supplies, and medicines.

In July, Bild newspaper reported that the Bundeswehr had developed a secret plan that determines the procedures for military and civilian authorities in case NATO troops need to be transferred to the alliance's eastern front.
