At least six people have been killed in floods in northern Haiti in the aftermath of heavy rains in late January, TeleSUR TV reports, citing rescuers' data, Report informs.
Three people were previously reported dead. At least one other person is listed as missing.
According to the country's authorities, 2,578 houses in almost 20 communes in the departments of North, North-East and Nipp were flooded, leaving nearly 2,500 families in need of temporary shelter.
