Due to the worsening situation with coronavirus, the Finnish government will introduce restrictions in addition to the existing ones. The additional rules will be effective from 8 to 28 March, in particular, high school students will switch to distance learning, the Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said at a press conference.
Sanna Marin noted that 'the government, together with the president, is ready to declare a state of emergency in the country.'
The Cabinet of Ministers hopes with these measures to reduce the number of infections to prevent overload of the healthcare system.
