Foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) are planning an emergency meeting in Germany this week, Report informs citing TASS.
The meeting of the G7 foreign ministers will take place on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
According to the agency's government sources, the topic of the meeting should be the situation around Ukraine. Japan will be represented by Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi.
Approximately 35 heads of state and government will attend the Munich Security Conference, which will be held on February 18-20. The United States is expected to be represented by Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, while the German delegation will be led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is also expected to attend the conference.
