The Japanese government will suspend business delegations' entry from other countries if a new strain of coronavirus is detected on their territory, Report mentions, citing the TASS.
"Regarding the entry of business delegations, this process will be immediately suspended if a new strain of coronavirus is detected in the territory of the partner country," the head of government said.
On December 28, 2020, Japan introduced a de facto ban on entry and issuance of new visas to citizens of all countries and regions of the world due to discovering a new strain from the UK. Such measures will be in effect at least until the end of January next year. Only Japanese citizens and foreigners who permanently reside here and have long-term visas will enter the country.
