Japanese PM to visit US 

Prime Minister of Japan Yoshihide Suga said Friday he plans to visit Washington in the first half of April for talks with President Joe Biden, Report informs, referring to Kyodo News Plus.

If all goes as planned, Suga will become the first foreign leader to meet with Biden in person since the Democrat captured the White House in January.

Tarō Asō, who became a Prime Minister of Japan in 2009, was the first foreign leader received by the 44th US President Barak Obama.

The first foreign leader that met with the 45th President Donald Trump was former Japanese PM, Shinzo Abe.
