MFA promises retaliatory measures in case of new expulsion of Russian diplomats by Moldova

The Russian Foreign Ministry has stated that Moscow will take retaliatory measures in the event of a new expulsion of Russian diplomats by Moldova, Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Mikhail Galuzin told journalists, Report informs referring to TASS.

“Chisinau is not drawing proper conclusions; it seems they are determined to escalate tensions in our relations,” the deputy minister said, commenting on statements by the Moldovan side that a new expulsion of Russian diplomats is not ruled out.

“As for retaliatory steps, you know that there has never been a case where we left attacks of this kind without an adequate reaction,” Galuzin added.
