On January 10, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, European Union Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen signed the third joint declaration of cooperation, Report informs with reference to NATO.
The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of NATO in Brussels.
In September 2022, Stoltenberg stated that the time had come to sign a new EU-NATO declaration that would contribute to security and stability.
The joint declaration was supposed to be signed in 2021, but it was later postponed.
