NATO does not see a direct military threat to the member countries, Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the Alliance, said at a press conference held in Brussels, Report informs.
"NATO countries do not see any immediate military threat to themselves. This can be explained by the sharp increase in military spending by the Alliance states," he noted.
Stoltenberg said that although they do not see the threat of a direct military attack, hybrid and cyber threats remain: "We are closely monitoring these risks and the situation on the border with Russia."
