Shootout breaks out on Tajik-Kyrgyz border

A shooting took place between border guards of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz Frontier Force said in a statement, Report informs.

“On September 14, 2022, an incident took place on the Kyrgyz-Tajikistan border,” the statement said.

Some news agencies, citing information from the Kyrgyz Frontier Force, said that the Tajik side used mortars.

The incident took place in the Bulak Bashi village of the Batken Region of Kyrgyzstan.
