The Swedish Foreign Ministry has advised its citizens to refrain from traveling to Russian regions that border Ukraine, Report informs regarding RIA Novosti.
"Due to changes in the security situation, the Foreign Ministry on February 21, 2022 decided to change the recommendations applicable to Russia. The Foreign Ministry recommends own citizens to refrain from any travel to Belgorod, Voronezh and Rostov regions," the statement said.
Earlier, Sveriges Radio, citing the country's Foreign Ministry, reported that Sweden had decided to recall most of the staff of the embassy in Kyiv to their homeland and was considering closing it.
