Twelve countries close down their embassies in North Korea

Twelve countries worldwide and all international humanitarian organizations have closed their embassies and missions in North Korea, the Russian Embassy in North Korea posted on the Facebook page.

Report informs referring to TASS that the employees of the embassies of Great Britain, Venezuela, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, France, and the international humanitarian organizations have left North Korea. It is due to the situation in the country, the shortage of many goods and medicines.

"Those who left the Korean capital are understandable. "Not everyone can tolerate total restrictions, shortages of daily necessities, including the lack of medicines, the inability to solve health problems," the embassy said.

Currently, there are ambassadors of nine countries and Chargé d'Affaires of four countries in North Korea.

On March 30, the Japanese government extended unilateral sanctions against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for another two years.
