Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation

Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Archil Talakvadze, met with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, Report's local bureau informs, referring to the press service of the parliament.

The meeting focused on the historical relations of friendship and partnership between the two countries and deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation.

The sides also stressed the importance of peace and stability in the region.

They also discussed the problems caused by the global pandemic. The participants in the meeting noted that the rapid restoration of trade relations and the tourism sector between Georgia and Azerbaijan after this period is a priority for both countries.

Talakvadze wished the Azerbaijani ambassador success in his work and expressed readiness for cooperation.
