Thanks to the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Antalya has become a center of diplomacy, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a meeting with media representatives in Antalya, Report informs.
He noted that hundreds of diplomatic meetings and discussions are held in this Turkish city.
The minister reminded that currently there are five universities in Antalya and their main goal is to bring the number of universities in the city to ten.
According to Cavusoglu, Türkiye is the third country in the world in terms of tourism indicators: “Of course, this is by no means accidental. This is the result of the work done. Antalya airports annually receive 32 million tourists.”
Cavusoglu also spoke about Ankara’s foreign policy: “The trust of other states in our country was formed gradually. It took years. Today, Türkiye ranks 5th in the world in terms of digital diplomacy. We will achieve our goal of building a stronger Türkiye.”
