Charles Michel calls on Russian president to open humanitarian corridors in Ukrainian cities

European Council President Charles Michel called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to immediately open humanitarian corridors in the cities of Ukraine ahead of the upcoming Orthodox Easter. He raised this issue in a telephone conversation with Putin, Report informs, citing Charles Michel's Twitter page.

"Call with President Putin. Strongly urged for immediate humanitarian access and safe passage from #Mariupol and other besieged cities all the more on the occasion of Orthodox Easter," he tweeted.
