“I have absolutely no purpose to blame others for all my sins. During the years of my rule, there were many problems, there was injustice, a high level of corruption,” former President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said at the congress of the Republican Party, chaired by him, Report informs.
“I was not tough enough against those who, hiding behind our name, amassed wealth for themselves, weren’t open enough with the people, didn’t pay attention to many internal problems, being busy with state security issues,” he said.
Sargsyan also admitted that there are also people unworthy of trust in the ranks of the party he heads.
