Mehmet Hatip Aryturk, a PKK terrorist 'responsible' for Kirkuk, has been neutralized in a joint operation of the Turkish Armed Forces and Special Services in the Qandil region of northern Iraq, sources in Turkish security structures said.

Report informs, citing Anadolu Agency, that Atyturk, codenamed "Delil Siirt," oversaw the operations of the terrorist organization in the northern Iraqi province of Kirkuk.

Aryturk was involved in a series of bloody attacks by PKK terrorists in 2015 on civilians in the Afrin region of Syria.

In 2016, the terrorist was responsible for supplying heavy weapons and ammunition to PKK units from abroad, which was subsequently used against Turkey.
