Export of products from Turkmenistan to Russia grows 93%

The information system of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) ‘Argus-Fito’ recorded an increase in the export of fruit and vegetable products in 2021 from Turkmenistan, Report informs.

The export of fruit and vegetable products to Russia from Turkmenistan showed an increase of 93 percent from 16,900 tons to 32,700 tons.

The Rosselkhoznadzor reports that Turkmenistan significantly increased the volume of tomato supplies to Russia from 16,400 tons to 31,900 tons (+94 percent over the same period last year). In addition, imports of Turkmen carrots increased from 40 tons to 302 tons in 2021.
