"Finland is ready to host a summit between US President Joseph Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin," said the administration of Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, Report informs, citing TASS.
"Finland has always offered its diplomatic goodwill service. As for the potential meeting, we have informed both sides of our willingness to organize the meeting, " the source said said.
According to the report, Finland made the offer before the telephone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Sauli Niinistö.
Earlier, the Austrian Foreign Ministry said it wanted to host a meeting between Putin and Biden.
On April 13, the leaders of the United States and Russia had a telephone conversation. Joseph Biden invited Vladimir Putin to meet in a third country.
