Forbes: Poroshenko loses billionaire status

Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has lost his billionaire status, Report informs referring to Forbes.ua, which published a rating of the 20 richest Ukrainian entrepreneurs.

“Petro Poroshenko. Sphere - food industry. Company - ROSHEN. Status (as of) February 2022 - $1.6 billion. Status (as of) December 2022 - $730 million,” reads the article.

At the same time, Poroshenko holds 12th place in the rating of the publication.

In addition, the wealth of the 20 richest citizens of Ukraine has decreased by more than $20 billion. The list of billionaires is headed by Rinat Akhmetov, whose assets include DTEK energy holding - his fortune has fallen from $13.7 billion to $4.4 billion.

Earlier it was reported that Ihor Kolomoyskyy - once one of the richest people in Ukraine - lost the status of a dollar billionaire. After the nationalization of Ukrnafta, Forbes estimated his fortune at $850 million, although at the beginning of 2022 it reached $1.9 billion.
