Fuad Huseynaliyev: Armenia is not trying to strain relations with Azerbaijan

The return of 4 villages that were under Armenian occupation for many years had a direct impact on the beginning of the border delimitation process with Azerbaijan, Fuad Huseynaliyev, director of the Report Information Agency, said in an interview with the CBC TV Channel.

"I hope that despite the pressure of the forces opposing the peace agreement, such positive signals will be given in the future," he said.

According to him, the signing of the peace agreement will open great prospects for Armenia, unlike the current conditions, where there is neither peace nor war.

Huseynaliyev stressed that the possibility of re-escalation of the conflict with Armenia is not real.

"Recent events demonstrate that Armenia does not want the situation to escalate and is gradually moving towards signing a peace agreement with Azerbaijan."

The director of Report expressed hope that, despite the foreign influences, the Armenian government will act in accordance with its interests, not the interests of countries like France.
