Georgia's ruling party, Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia, has decided to suspend discussions with the European Union regarding the opening of accession talks until 2028, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said during a press briefing.
"We have made the decision to remove the issue of opening accession negotiations from the agenda until 2028," stated Kobakhidze. "Furthermore, we will also be declining all budget grants from the European Union until 2028."
