Iranian FM to visit several Middle Eastern countries

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi intends to visit several neighboring countries to discuss ways of settling the situation in the Middle East, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei wrote on social media, Report informs.

"Araqchi will visit Jordan, Egypt, and Türkiye as part of diplomatic efforts aimed at ending genocide, cruelty, and aggression," he noted.

He did not provide the dates of the visit.

However, local media, based on real-time flight observations, report that an Iranian government plane, which may be carrying Araqchi, has already departed from Tehran in a southwestern direction.
