Lavrov: Joint activities of Caspian littoral states contribute to stability in Eurasia

The joint activities of the Caspian littoral states contribute to ensuring stability in Eurasia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a video address to the participants of the International Caspian Digital Forum, Report informs via TASS.

"The joint activities of the Caspian countries make an objective contribution to ensuring stability and sustainable development in Eurasia, and strengthening the multipolar principles of international life," Lavrov said.

The Russian top diplomat noted that the Caspian region has great development potential in trade-economic, transport-transit, environmental, scientific, humanitarian, and other areas: "Each of these requires modern digital solutions. The concrete steps taken by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development to strengthen this promising direction of cooperation among the Caspian 'five' deserve all kinds of support."
