According to Report, which cites TASS, the seismic event, reported by the Seismological Prediction Center of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Emergency Situations, occurred at 5:09 PM local time, with its epicenter located approximately 40 kilometers from the region's administrative center, Khorog City.
The tremors originated from a depth of 200 kilometers beneath the Earth's surface, as per the data provided by the monitoring center, which keeps track of seismic activities across Central Asian countries.
