Manukyan: Elections under Pashinyan will bring disgrace on us

“Armenia, which is in such a state of disarray, is not ready for elections,” said Vazgen Manukyan, a leader of the Homeland Salvation Movement, the joint candidate of the Movement for interim prime minister, Report informs, citing Newsarmenia.

In his interviews with some TVs, Manukyan protested against early parliamentary elections under Pashinyan.

“These elections will not resolve the crisis, on the contrary, deepen it. In case Pashinyan heads the elections, it will bring shame on us, we’ll lose our respect and self-confidence,” he said.

He added that if Pashinan is re-elected as Prime Minister, the whole world will laugh at Armenia. According to him, Pashinyan must be replaced before the start of the election campaign.

“This is our mission. Nikol must leave his post. It will restore self-confidence in the people,” he said.
