The convicted former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili receives almost 10 people a day and has set up the office of the largest opposition party, the United National Movement, in his chamber, said the executive secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party, Mamuka Mdinaradze, Report informs referring to Georgian media.
He noted that while a prisoner, Saakashvili speaks on television, the court gives him the right to do so.
“We should perceive him a little as a prisoner... What is this man doing now, what is his status, is he a prisoner? A sanatorium was literally opened there...,” Mdinaradze noted, commenting on the statement of opposition MP Tamar Kordzaia that parliamentarians were not allowed to visit Saakashvili.
