Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili plans to visit Georgia, the local Bureau of the Report informs, citing his video message.
Saakashvili said he would be in Georgia during the local elections in the autumn of this year. "Although it is a great risk to my life and freedom, I will participate directly in the process in Georgia," he said.
According to the former head of state, besides the local elections in the fall, a referendum has been scheduled for Georgian Dream Party.
He called on the United National Movement Party to sign an agreement with the authorities after the release of Nika Melia and enter parliament.
