Number of active COVID cases nears 20,000 in Georgia

Over the past day, 2,415 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Georgia.

The country has reported 943 COVID recoveries and 26 deaths, Report's Georgian Service informs with reference to the Georgian Government.

Georgia has recorded a total of 393,360 cases of coronavirus infection since the pandemic began. To date, 368,073 of them have recovered, while 5,618 have died.

As of July 21, there are 19,643 active COVID cases in the country.
