Number of COVID cases in Georgia exceeds 283,000

Over the past day, Georgia has recorded 580 new cases of coronavirus infection, 215 people have recovered, according to the special official website of the Georgian government, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.

Thus, the number of people infected with COVID in the country has increased to 283,369, and the number of recovered to 274,145.

Over the past 24 hours, the number of deaths due to complications caused by coronavirus has increased by 13 people, to 3,804.

Over the past 24 hours, Georgia has conducted 29,729 tests to identify new cases of infection.
